Paper Making Workshop Learn the art of traditional papermaking—filtering paper fibers, molding your sheet, and pressing it into shape. After that, step inside our historic Print Shop for a guided tour, hear fascinating stories about the evolution of printing and print your own postcard on one of our antique printing presses. Designed for homeschool students ages 10-18! Come dive into the past with our brand‑new immersive workshop, created especially for older students eager to roll up their sleeves and get hands-on with history . In the first hour, you’ll learn the art of traditional papermaking—filtering paper fibers, molding your sheet, and pressing it into shape. After that, step inside our historic Print Shop for a guided tour, hear fascinating stories about the evolution of printing and print your own postcard on one of our antique printing presses. What you’ll make: Two sheets of handmade paper to take home—one embedded with flower seeds to plant later if you choose A hand‑printed postcard created on our authentic antique presses ⏳ Registration closes for our Paper Making Workshop April 29, 2027 at 4pm or when all tickets are sold. Shopping: At the end of our program, you are welcome to stop by our General Store. The store features nostalgic and reproduction items, historical toys and games, books, candy, and many other unique gift items. The General Store accepts cash and all major credit cards.
