Gasparilla Pirate Fest

Tampa's signature event since 1904. The Jose Gasparilla II and its pirate flotilla sail up the Seddon Channel and dock at the Tampa Convention Center (Invasion, 11:30 AM–1:00 PM), followed by the Gasparilla Parade of Pirates down Bayshore Boulevard — a 4.5-mile route through downtown Tampa (2:00–6:00 PM) with ~140 krewe units, floats, and marching bands. Live music stages (presented by Michelob Ultra) run 10 AM–8 PM at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park and MacDill Park. Free to attend; reserved parade seating available.
