Two-time GRAMMY® nominated acoustic guitar virtuoso, Leo Kottke returns to the Bilheimer Capitol Theatre! Kottke was one of the most influential acoustic guitarists to emerge in the 1960s and is widely known for his innovative finger-picking style, which draws on influences from blues, jazz, and folk music. His syncopated, polyphonic melodies can be heard on hits such as Pamela Brown, Vaseline Machine Gun, and Bean Time. After Kottke’s 1971 major-label debut, Mudlark, he continued to flourish with records like 1972’s Greenhouse and 1973’s live My Feet Are Smiling and Ice Water. With 1975’s Chewing Pine, Kottke reached the U.S. Top 30 for the second time and also gained an international following.
